Get started
Set up Mojobase in about ten minutes: sign in, connect your email, tell the AI about your business, and bring in your team.
1. Sign in
Open your invite email and follow the link. Sign in with Google, a password or an email code, using the address your invite went to. If you're starting a company, name it and tick the parts you want to use. You land on Home.
Until you're set up, Home shows a Get started checklist. Each step has a button that takes you to the right screen, and it ticks itself off when it's done.
2. Find your way around
- The rail on the left (the tab bar on a phone) switches between Email, Chat, Calendar, Tasks, Documents, Customers, Numbers and Handbook. You see the parts your company uses and you're allowed to open.
- Home shows Needs you today: at most three things that need your decision. Everything else has a card of its own.
- Quick actions (⌘K on a Mac, Ctrl+K on Windows, the search bar on a phone) works everywhere. Type a few letters to jump to any email, event, file, task or page, or type a sentence to ask or to say what to do.
- Activity, Settings and your initials sit at the foot of the rail.
3. Connect your email
- Open Email, then Email Settings → Add an inbox.
- For Gmail or Google Workspace, choose Google and approve access on Google's screen. For Microsoft 365 or Outlook, choose Microsoft and approve access on Microsoft's screen. For other mail services such as Fastmail or iCloud, enter your address and an app password.
- Mojobase copies your mail so it can search and sort it. Your mail server stays in charge, and your usual mail app keeps working beside it.
Your customers see no change: you keep the email address you have.
4. Choose your AI
Go to Settings → AI and pick the models Mojobase uses: one for routine work like sorting mail, and one for writing, answers and changes. Every part uses the same choice, and you can change it any time.
5. Set up your business profile
The business profile tells every AI in Mojobase, and every agent you connect, what your business does, who your customers are, your prices, your tone of voice, your policies and what the AI may do on its own. It's the first thing they read.
- From your website: in Handbook, choose Business profile, type your web address and Mojobase drafts the profile from your site. Check it, fill in the gaps and press Save.
- From the AI you already use: connect Claude or ChatGPT (see Connect your own agent) and ask it to set up your Mojobase business profile. It fills in what it knows and leaves the rest for you.
If you don't see Handbook in the rail, an owner can turn it on in Settings → Apps.
6. Connect your sales and ads
Owners go to Settings → Connections and connect Shopify, Amazon, Meta Ads, Google Ads or Amazon Ads. Numbers adds them up every day, and the AI can answer questions like "How did last week's ads do against sales?" Connections are read-only: Mojobase never changes anything there.
7. Bring in your team
Owners go to Settings → Team to invite people by email or make an invite link. Everyone has their own sign-in, mailboxes, drafts and AI settings. Owners choose which parts each person can open in Settings → Apps.
8. Let the AI start work
In Settings → AI, switch on the runs you want:
- Morning sweep: goes through new mail, today's calendar and open tasks, drafts replies, suggests tasks and flags what's stuck.
- New mail: drafts a reply when one is needed, as mail arrives.
- Friday review: writes the week's review.
Runs only leave drafts and suggestions for you. Try one with Run now.
