Numbers

Your sales and ad spend, every morning, with AI that explains them

Mojobase Numbers shows Shopify and Amazon sales, ad spend, Stripe payments and existing Stripe invoices in one place. Open and overdue amounts appear in Numbers and on customer pages. The AI checks email, meeting notes, team chat and tasks, then drafts reminders with Stripe's payment link for a person to send.

Mojobase Numbers: yesterday's total sales of $8,412, $2,140 of ad spend, a return on ad spend of 3.9, and $11,340 owed on five overdue Stripe invoices, read without changing them.

What does Mojobase Numbers do?

Sales across channels, added up properly

Shopify and Amazon side by side, each with sales, orders and average order, measured the same way: what was ordered, before tax, shipping and refunds. So the total really is the total.

Ad spend by platform

Meta, Google and Amazon Ads, each with what it spent, the sales it says its ads made, and its campaigns by spend. Each platform's claim is labelled as the platform's own figure.

One honest return on ad spend

Total sales divided by total ad spend, across everything. The platforms each take credit for the same sale, so Numbers never adds their claims together.

Invoices and who owes what

Numbers reads the invoices your company already issues in Stripe. Invoices lists each customer's open and overdue amounts, due dates and days late; the same invoices appear on person and company pages in Customers.

Late payers chased, with care

The AI checks email, meeting notes, team chat and tasks for agreements to wait. It cites why it skips an invoice and drafts the other reminders with the existing Stripe payment link, for a person to send.

Stripe, connected once

Connect Stripe in Settings → Connections and its payments, customers, subscriptions and invoices feed Numbers and each customer's page in Customers.

The morning note

The morning run flags what's unusual, such as Meta spend up 38% on last week while Shopify sales are flat, with Ask and Make a task beside it.

What can you ask the AI in Numbers?

Type it in Quick actions (⌘K) from anywhere in Mojobase, or ask your own agent over MCP.

  • “What did Amazon do yesterday?”
  • “Why is return on ad spend down this week?”
  • “Compare this month with last month by channel.”
  • “Who owes us money, and which of them did we agree to give more time?”
  • “Draft reminders with Stripe payment links for invoices more than 14 days late.”
  • “Which campaigns took most of the Meta spend this week?”

Works with: Shopify, Amazon, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Stripe.

Why does a small online business need its numbers in one place?

Because the morning numbers are spread over five tabs. Sales are in Shopify and Seller Central, the spend is in three ad managers, and who owes you is in Stripe. Adding them up takes a spreadsheet, and none of those tabs knows what's in your email or your tasks. Mojobase Numbers reads them every hour, and the AI reads them alongside everything else in the business.

The page itself stays simple on purpose. The effort goes into the AI that sees a drop in sales next to the supplier email that explains it, or an overdue invoice next to the chat where you agreed to wait.

What does Numbers show?

The headline numbers first, then each channel and ad platform, for the period you pick. Every figure is compared with the period before; a single day is compared with the same weekday last week, since a Monday and a Saturday aren't alike.

Figure What it is
Sales What was ordered, before tax, shipping and refunds: Shopify's gross sales and Amazon's ordered product sales
Ad spend What each platform says it spent
Return on ad spend Total sales divided by total ad spend, across all platforms
Orders Orders across Shopify and Amazon
Platform's claimed sales The sales each ad platform credits to its own ads, shown on its own line
Who owes what Open and overdue Stripe invoices by customer, with totals and days late

Open Invoices in Numbers for the invoice number, customer, amount, issued and due dates, Stripe status and the link to Stripe's own payment page. Numbers and each person's and company's page in Customers show the same amounts owed. Invoices are in US dollars; payment status comes from Stripe. Mojobase does not create, prepare or send invoices, make PDFs or payment pages, or handle tax.

Periods are Today so far, Yesterday, Last 7 days, This month and Last month, and one chart shows the last 30 days of sales by channel with ad spend on the same dollar axis. Owners also get a card on Home with yesterday's sales, ad spend and return on ad spend against the same day last week.

What does the AI do with your numbers?

The AI explains what changed and turns it into something to do. Ask "what did Amazon do yesterday?" in Quick actions (⌘K) and the answer comes with the figures and a link. The Morning sweep and the Friday review read the numbers too, and flag only what's unusual: spend climbing while sales stay flat, a campaign taking most of the budget, a channel falling behind its usual weekday.

For money owed, it does the legwork before the reminder. It reads each overdue Stripe invoice beside the customer's email, meeting notes, team chat and tasks. An agreement to wait means the invoice is skipped, with the reason and its source linked. The other invoices get reminders in the tone set in your Handbook, from the right mailbox, with the existing Stripe invoice payment link. The drafts wait in Email for a person to check and send. Every reminder is recorded in Activity.

How do the connections work?

Each source is connected once, by an owner, in Settings → Connections, and every app shares it. Numbers reads daily totals; it doesn't copy your orders or your customers' details from the stores.

  1. An owner opens Settings → Connections → Connect a source, or Connect a source in Numbers. Stripe connects with a restricted key with only the required Read permissions.
  2. Numbers reads the last 90 days the first time, then syncs every hour.
  3. Each sync re-reads the last seven days, because the platforms revise recent figures.
  4. The stored permission is sealed with your company's own key and never shown to a person, a log or an agent.
  5. Disconnect deletes the permission and every copy of that source's numbers.

How is it different from Triple Whale or Polar Analytics?

Triple Whale and Polar Analytics are built for ecommerce analysts. Triple Whale offers multi-touch attribution, custom dashboards and a SQL editor on its paid plans, according to Triple Whale's pricing page, and Polar Analytics puts a brand's data in its own Snowflake warehouse with dashboards, Slack and MCP, according to its own summary. If you need attribution models or custom reports, they do far more than Mojobase.

Numbers doesn't compete on charts. It answers the questions an owner asks over coffee, and it puts the answer next to the email, the tasks and the customers it affects. The ecommerce side of that day is described on Mojobase for ecommerce brands, and the Shopify connection on Shopify.

The Triple Whale alternatives guide compares attribution tools with simpler operating views.

Questions people ask

Which sources does Numbers connect to?

Shopify, Amazon, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Ads and Stripe, each connected once by an owner in Settings → Connections. Every app and the AI can then read them: Numbers, Customers, Quick actions (⌘K), scheduled runs and your own agent over MCP.

Does Numbers change anything in my store or ad accounts?

No. Connections are read-only. Mojobase reads daily totals and campaign figures; it never pauses ads, refunds orders or changes a listing. Disconnecting deletes the stored permission and every copy of that source's numbers.

Does Numbers do bookkeeping or show profit?

No. Numbers shows sales, ad spend, return on ad spend, payments and invoices with who owes what. It doesn't do bookkeeping, expenses, tax or bank feeds, and it doesn't work out profit, which needs product costs and each platform's fees. Keep your accountant's software for those.

How does the AI chase late invoices?

For each overdue Stripe invoice it checks email, meeting notes, team chat and tasks for an agreement to wait. Skipped invoices show the reason and a link to the source. The others get reminder drafts in Email with the existing Stripe invoice payment link. A person checks and sends each reminder.

Can I create or send invoices from Mojobase?

No. Numbers reads invoices already issued in your company's Stripe account. Creating and sending invoices, numbering, PDFs, tax and the payment page stay in Stripe. Mojobase shows what is owed and drafts reminders; a person sends them.

Who can see Numbers?

Owners, to start with, because the numbers are the company's. An owner can open Numbers to other members of the team in Settings → Apps. With AI switched off in Numbers Settings, no AI or agent sees any of it.

Which currencies and Amazon stores does Numbers cover?

Numbers reports in US dollars and reads Amazon's US store. Days run in your company's time zone, and because Amazon and the ad platforms revise recent days, every sync reads the last seven days again.
