Connect your own agent

Anything you can do in Mojobase, your own agents can do too, within the access you give them. Connect Claude Code, Codex, claude.ai, ChatGPT or any agent that speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol), and it can work across your email, chat, calendar, documents, tasks, customers, numbers and Handbook as you.

What your agent can do

  • Search everything at once: mail, events, files, documents, tasks and Handbook pages.
  • Email: read and search mail, and write and revise drafts. Sending needs your click in Mojobase, unless you've let agents schedule drafts in Email Settings (off by default).
  • Calendar: check free times, create and change events, and hold times. Anything with guests waits for you.
  • Documents: search, read and create documents and folders, and suggest edits, moves, renames and trash.
  • Tasks: add, update and complete tasks, and work with projects.
  • Chat: read and post messages in the channels you're in.
  • Customers: find and read people and companies, and add or update them.
  • Numbers: read your sales, ad spend and campaigns (owners only).
  • Handbook: read, search, write and reorganize pages, fill in your business profile, and approve a page when you ask it to (once you've switched on Let agents approve pages in Handbook Settings).

Every agent reads your business profile before it writes anything for you.

Connect Claude Code or Codex

  1. In Mojobase, go to Settings → Connect an agent and make a key. Give it a name you'll recognize, like "Claude on my laptop".

  2. Copy the key. It's shown only once.

  3. Paste the line Mojobase shows into your terminal. For Claude Code:

    claude mcp add --transport http --scope user mojobase https://app.mojobase.ai/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"

    For Codex, put the key in MOJOBASE_KEY in your shell profile, then:

    codex mcp add mojobase --url https://app.mojobase.ai/mcp --bearer-token-env-var MOJOBASE_KEY

  4. Ask your agent something like "What needs my attention in Mojobase today?"

Other MCP clients connect the same way: the address is https://app.mojobase.ai/mcp, with your key as a Bearer token.

Connect claude.ai or ChatGPT

These sign in instead of using a key.

  1. In Settings → Connect an agent, copy your company's address under claude.ai and ChatGPT.
  2. In claude.ai or ChatGPT, add a custom connector with that address.
  3. Sign in to Mojobase when asked, the same way you sign in to the app.

If you're in more than one company, add each company's address separately.

The rules your agent follows

  • It acts as you, with exactly your access. It sees only the parts you can open, and nothing in a space closed to AI.
  • Everything shows in Activity, under your name and the agent's, with Undo.
  • You can switch a key off at once in Settings → Connect an agent. You can have up to 10 keys.
  • If you leave a company, or your role changes, your agent's access changes on its next request.
  • Agents can make up to 120 requests a minute. If Mojobase is busy, your agent is told to try again in a minute.

Set up Mojobase from the AI you already use

If you've already told ChatGPT or Claude about your business, in a project or its memory, connect it and ask: "Set up my business profile in Mojobase." It fills in what it knows, leaves blanks for the rest, and saves it as a Draft for you to check and approve in the Handbook.
