Terms of service and end-user licence
These terms cover the Mojobase website and app, the licence to use them for your business, and your responsibilities for accounts, data, AI and connected services. You keep your data rights. Numbers only reads connected sources. Charges must be agreed, and mandatory legal rights continue to apply.
Updated 7 November 2026. These terms cover your use of the Mojobase website and app, including its AI features and connections. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle data.
Who are these terms for?
Mojobase is a service for businesses. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it and to give the instructions you give us. In these terms, “you” includes that organisation; “we” and “us” mean INFERENCE & AGENTS LLC, the provider and operator of Mojobase. Questions and support requests go to [email protected].

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation, a launch date or access to a particular feature. Before you accept an invitation, we will explain what is available and any charges.
What does your licence allow?
While your access is active and you follow these terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Mojobase and any software we provide as part of it for your business's own work. You may let your authorised team members and agents use the access you give them. This licence does not transfer ownership of Mojobase, its software, branding or documentation. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences.
What are your account and use responsibilities?
Keep your account details and keys secure, give accurate account information, and tell us promptly if you think someone has gained unauthorised access. You are responsible for choosing your team and agents, the permissions you give them, and activity you authorise through your account.
Do not use Mojobase to break the law or someone else's rights, send spam or abusive content, distribute malware, deceive or defraud people, or access data you have no right to use. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with other customers or the service, or probe systems without permission. Do not resell access or copy or distribute our software except as this licence, an applicable open-source licence or the law allows.
Who owns your data, and how may we process it?
Your company keeps its rights in the data and content it puts into Mojobase or authorises us to obtain from a connected service. You give us permission to host, copy, organise, transmit and otherwise process that data only as needed to provide the service you use, follow your instructions, maintain security and meet legal obligations, as described in our Privacy policy. This permission does not let us sell your data or use it for advertising.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to give us that data and let your team or agents use it, including any notices or permissions required for information about customers, staff or other people. Choose sharing and AI access with care. Keep copies of records your business must retain.
What applies to connected services and Numbers?
Connecting an account authorises us to access it for the features you choose, within the permissions you grant. Connect only accounts you are entitled to use. Each provider has its own terms, privacy practices, permissions, charges and availability. Our service does not replace your agreement with that provider, and we are not endorsed by a provider merely because we connect to it. A provider can change or withdraw its API or your access.
Numbers is read-only: it reads connected business data to show reports and answer questions. It does not move money, make payments, change your books or change a source account. Some providers do not offer narrower permissions. Intuit's QuickBooks accounting permission, for example, can also allow changes; Numbers still only reads. Do not treat a permission screen's broader scope as a promise that Numbers offers those actions. Other Mojobase apps, such as Email and Calendar, have their own features that can make changes you authorise.
Only connections offered as ready in the app can be used. Planned connections, including QuickBooks, Plaid, Square, Google Analytics and Search Console, are not a promise of present access or a delivery date. Disconnect in Mojobase to stop reads and remove our live copies as explained in the Privacy policy. You can also remove access in the provider's connected-app settings or revoke a pasted key there. Disconnecting Mojobase does not delete the original records at that provider.
How should you use AI and reports?
AI can make mistakes, omit context or produce incorrect information. Review its work before relying on it, sending it to someone or authorising an important action. You choose the access you give your own agents and are responsible for their instructions. The app's access controls and AI settings still apply; Numbers has an app-wide AI switch in Numbers Settings.
Reports depend on what each source supplies, when it was last read, and how that source defines its figures. Sources may overlap or revise their reports. Mojobase and its AI are tools for your work, not professional legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. Check significant decisions and statutory records against the source and, where needed, a qualified adviser.
What can you expect of availability and previews?
We aim to run Mojobase with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free software, complete or always-current reports, or that every feature suits a particular purpose. Maintenance, faults and third-party outages can interrupt service. Preview and early-access features may be incomplete, change or be withdrawn. We will explain material limitations we know about and give reasonable notice of significant service changes where practical.
What charges do you agree to?
You only owe charges you have agreed to. Before a paid service or usage begins, we will show or agree its price, billing basis and payment terms. Any renewal or change to charges must follow those agreed terms and applicable law, with notice of changes before they take effect. These terms do not set a price, create a paid subscription by themselves or replace any mandatory payment or refund rights.
How can access end, and what happens to data?
You can stop using Mojobase at any time. For help closing a company account, ending a paid arrangement or requesting a copy or deletion of data, write to [email protected]. Any agreed billing terms still apply to charges already incurred.
We may restrict or end access for a material breach of these terms, a legal requirement or a security risk. Where practical, we will explain why and give you a reasonable chance to fix a breach. Urgent action may be necessary to protect people or the service. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice where practical and a reasonable opportunity to request your data before access ends, unless the law prevents it.
Ending access ends your licence. Data removal, connected-account disconnection and backup expiry follow the Privacy policy; stopping use alone does not disconnect an account or delete stored data. Contact us for help with those steps.
How do responsibility and legal rights apply?
Each of us is responsible for our own breach of these terms and failure to use reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, neither of us is responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when these terms were agreed, or for losses caused by the other's unlawful use or failure to take reasonable steps to limit a loss. We are not responsible for a third party's independent acts, but remain responsible for our own obligations and for providers acting on our behalf where the law requires it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. Nothing removes mandatory statutory rights or warranties, including any consumer rights that apply despite the service being intended for businesses. The qualifications above apply only as far as the law permits.
How will terms change, and how can you contact us?
We may update these terms as the service changes or the law requires. We will publish the revised terms here, update the date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes where practical. Changes do not rewrite charges or rights already accrued. If a change requires your agreement under applicable law, we will ask for it. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the service and contact us about ending access.
