Customers
Every customer on one page, filled in for you
Mojobase Customers is client management software for small businesses that fills itself in. People and companies arrive from your email, calendar and Stripe; each customer's page gathers their mail, meetings, payments, tasks, files and support conversations live. One app holds the support Inbox and the CRM, because in a small team the person who answers support also sells.
What does Mojobase Customers do?
Inbox, People and Companies
Three lists in one app: Inbox for support conversations, People for everyone you work with, and Companies to group them. Each person and company is one record, shared by the whole team.
Filled in from what already happened
People you've written to and outside guests you've met are found for you, Stripe customers join from the Stripe connection, and Team chat guests are the same people. Nobody types a contact list.
Everything about them, gathered live
A person's or company's page asks every app when you open it: recent mail, meetings, open tasks, files, Handbook pages, Stripe subscription and read-only invoices with amounts owed, support conversations and shared chat channels.
The company behind the person
Each company has its name, web domains and notes, and anyone writing from that domain is filed under it. Open a company to see all its people and everything open with any of them.
AI that keeps it current
Ask it to add everyone from yesterday's trade show emails, or to correct who belongs to which company, and it does, each change recorded under its name with Undo. Only a person deletes.
History you can undo
Every change, by a person or an agent, is kept with who made it and which agent. Whoever made a change can undo it, so a wrong merge or a bad import is one click to reverse.
What can you ask the AI in Customers?
Type it in Quick actions (⌘K) from anywhere in Mojobase, or ask your own agent over MCP.
- “Who are our ten most active customers this month, and what's open with each?”
- “Show me everything about Harbor Cafe: mail, meetings, invoices and support.”
- “Which customers have an unpaid invoice and an open support question?”
- “File everyone at northside.example under Northside and note who the buyer is.”
- “Invite Bo from Acme Widgets to our #acme channel as a guest.”
Works with: Gmail and Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, Google Calendar and Outlook calendars, Stripe.
Why keep support and the customer list in one app?
Because in a business of 1 to 25 people, and it works well for teams up to 100, the same few people answer the support email, send the quotes and chase the invoices. Two tools mean two records of the same customer, and the one you're not looking at is always the one with the answer. Mojobase Customers keeps one list of people and companies, with the support Inbox and the CRM as two views of it.
So when Harbor Cafe writes in about a late delivery, whoever opens the conversation sees, on the same screen, that their subscription renewed last week, that there's a call booked for Thursday, and that the replacement order is a task assigned to Sam.
For the support queue, compare Tidio alternatives and Zoho Desk alternatives; the ticketing-system guide explains ownership and request states.
What's on a customer's page?
Everything the rest of Mojobase knows about them, asked live from each app when you open the page. Customers keeps the person and company; the other apps keep the history.
| Section | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Name, addresses, company, job title, phone, notes | Customers itself |
| Recent mail, both ways | Email, from the mailboxes you can see |
| Past and next meetings | Calendar |
| Subscription, payments and invoices | Read from your company's Stripe account; the same amounts owed appear in Numbers |
| Open tasks about them | Tasks |
| Files and Handbook pages that mention them | Documents and the Handbook |
| Support conversations | Customers' Inbox |
| Shared channels, if they're a guest | Team chat |
Each section respects the viewer: a teammate opening the same page sees only the mail, meetings and files they could already open. A mailbox or calendar with AI switched off never reaches an agent through Customers.
How does the AI use Customers?
The AI uses Customers as its map of who matters, and keeps that map tidy. Support drafts answer only from published Handbook pages; the customer's history is shown beside the conversation so your team can check the open invoice or the next meeting. When it runs the morning sweep, it checks who's owed a reply and who's gone quiet and drafts the follow-ups.
It also keeps the records in order. New people found in a mailbox the whole team sees are added with the mark "Found in email", and anyone writing from a company's web domain is filed under that company. Ask it to add a list of people, fix a company's domains or merge notes, and it does, with each change recorded under the AI's name and each one undoable.
How do Stripe and Team chat connect to Customers?
An owner connects Stripe once with a restricted read-only key in Settings → Connections → Connect a source. Stripe customers, subscriptions, payments and existing invoices appear on person and company pages, matched to the customer. Numbers uses the same connection for open and overdue amounts, so both places show the same debt without anyone copying it. Invoice creation, sending and payment status stay in Stripe. The AI checks email, meeting notes, team chat and tasks before drafting a reminder with the existing Stripe invoice payment link, for a person to send.
Team chat guests are the same people as customers. A customer can be invited into a shared channel from their page, and a guest can be added to Customers from their chat profile, in one click each. Removing a guest from chat keeps the customer, and archiving a customer asks whether to remove their chat access too.

How is it different from a CRM like HubSpot?
HubSpot is built around a sales pipeline and marketing tools. Mojobase holds the email, calendar, chat, tasks and support Inbox itself, so the customer record is a view of the work already done rather than a second place to type it. The trade-off is that Mojobase has no deal stages, forecasts, marketing email campaigns or landing pages. The full comparison, with HubSpot's prices from its own site, is on Mojobase vs HubSpot; the CRM half on its own is described on CRM.

Questions people ask
What is client management software?
Client management software keeps one record per client: who they are, how to reach them, what you've discussed and what's open. A CRM is one kind. Mojobase Customers builds those records from your email, calendar and Stripe, and adds support conversations, so the whole relationship is on one page.
What's the difference between Customers, Support and CRM in Mojobase?
They're one app. Customers is the app; Support is its Inbox, where conversations from support addresses and the website chat are answered; CRM is its People and Companies, filled in from email, calendar and Stripe. Both halves share the same list of people.
Where do the customers come from?
From what already happened: everyone you've written to and every outside guest on your calendar, Stripe customers, and guests in Team chat. People found in a mailbox the whole team sees are added for everyone; people found only in your own mailbox are shown to you first.
Does Mojobase keep a copy of my email in Customers?
No. Customers stores people, companies and notes. A customer's page asks Email, Calendar, Tasks, Documents and the Handbook as whoever is looking, when they open it, so each person sees only what they could already see elsewhere.
Can the AI delete customers?
No. The AI and agents can add and change people and companies, with Undo, and every change shows in Activity under the agent's name. Deleting a person or company is for people only.
Does Customers track deals and sales stages?
No. Customers tracks relationships, not deal stages: who you talk to, what's open, what they've paid and what's next. Teams that run sales on stages, forecasts and quotas are better served by a pipeline CRM.
