Calendar

A calendar with AI that books, preps and follows up

Mojobase Calendar is a full calendar with an AI scheduling assistant built in. It syncs both ways with Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud and Fastmail, shares one-on-one booking links, and finds times that are really free. Before a meeting the AI writes a brief from your email and tasks; afterwards it turns your notes into tasks and a follow-up draft.

Mojobase Calendar: Thursday, with a brief ready for the call with Ana.

What does Mojobase Calendar do?

The calendar you already know

Day, 4 days, Week, Month and Schedule views, drag to create, move and resize, repeats with this, this and following, or all, a time zone for each start and end, and extra zones down the side. Google Calendar's keys work too.

Your other calendars, both ways

Connect Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail or any CalDAV calendar. Events come in, changes go back, and every connected calendar's busy time counts when someone books you.

One-on-one booking links

A public page where people pick one of your free times in their own zone, answer up to five questions and get a private link to move or cancel. Set the length, notice, how far ahead, gaps and a daily limit.

Find a time from a sentence

Type "find 45 minutes with Dana next week, mornings her time" and Calendar shows free times. Offer a few in a drafted email and private holds keep them free until Dana picks one.

A brief before every meeting

The morning list shows today's meetings, each with what was last said, what's still open, any unpaid invoice and the documents involved, drawn from Email, Tasks, Numbers and Documents.

Notes that turn into work

Type or paste notes on any event. Write up with AI gives a summary, follow-ups to keep or dismiss, which go to Tasks, and a follow-up email waiting in your drafts.

Teammates' free time, not their details

Each person has their own calendar. Teammates see when you're busy, or what you choose to share with the team, never your private events or holds.

What can you ask the AI in Calendar?

Type it in Quick actions (⌘K) from anywhere in Mojobase, or ask your own agent over MCP.

  • “Prepare me for Thursday's call and find Sam an hour after it.”
  • “Find 30 minutes with [email protected] next week, mornings her time.”
  • “I'm off Friday. Move what I can and draft a note to each guest.”
  • “Block two hours tomorrow for the supplier quotes task.”
  • “Here are my notes from the Acme call: write them up.”
  • “Who booked an intro call this week, and what do they want?”

Works with: Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, iCloud and Fastmail, Any CalDAV calendar, .ics files from Google, Outlook and Apple.

What is an AI calendar, and what does Mojobase's do?

An AI calendar does the scheduling work around your meetings, not just the storing of them. Mojobase Calendar finds times that are really free, books people without back-and-forth, prepares you before each meeting and turns what happened into tasks and a follow-up. It can do that because your email, tasks, customers and numbers live in Mojobase too.

Underneath, it's a complete calendar a person can use without any AI: the usual views, drag to create, repeating events, time zones, invitations that work in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Calendar, and .ics import and export. The AI works on the same events, through the same rules as the page.

The AI task manager guide covers choosing where the work between meetings lives.

How does it decide when you're free?

Free time is worked out by Mojobase's availability code, never guessed by a model. The model reads your request and explains the options; the code decides which times are actually open, counting every connected calendar.

Rule What it does
Working hours Times outside them are never offered
Buffers Space before and after each meeting is kept free
Minimum notice Nobody can book you for ten minutes from now
Daily limit Stops a day filling up with calls
Their time zone "Mornings their time" means mornings where they are
Holds Times offered by email stay free until one is picked

Suggestions are spread over several days rather than bunched on the first free morning, and two people can never book the same slot.

What does the AI do before and after a meeting?

Before a meeting, it gathers what you'd otherwise search for: the last emails with the people you're meeting, open tasks, documents you shared and anything unpaid in Numbers, in a few lines on the event and in the morning list. For a booking, it adds the guest's answers and their past mail.

After a meeting, you type or paste your notes. "Write up with AI" turns them into a summary on the event, a short list of follow-ups you keep or dismiss (kept ones become tasks) and a follow-up email waiting in your drafts. Nothing is sent from Calendar itself; the email goes when you press Send.

What can the AI change without asking?

Your private time, with Undo; never other people's time without your Approve. These are the defaults, and Calendar Settings can make the AI ask for private changes too.

  • Always: read the calendar and suggest.
  • On its own, with Undo: holds, focus time, prep time and notes on your own events.
  • After you approve: invitations, updates, reschedules, cancellations and replies to invites. The approval shows the exact change and the message each guest gets.
  • Booking confirmations: sent automatically to whoever books, with fixed wording, and a switch on each link.

The same rules hold when your own agent asks over MCP: a change with guests becomes a proposal waiting in "Waiting for your approval".

How is it different from Calendly or Google Calendar?

Calendly is a scheduling page first. It offers one-on-one, group, round-robin and collective event types and takes payment at booking through Stripe or PayPal from its Standard plan, according to Calendly's pricing page. If you book team meetings or sell paid sessions, Calendly does more than Mojobase, whose booking links are one-on-one only.

Google Calendar is a calendar first. Mojobase keeps its screens and keys and syncs with it both ways, so you can keep using Google Calendar on your phone. What Mojobase adds is the AI that knows the rest of your business: who the guest is in Customers, what you promised them in Email, what's still open in Tasks, and whether they've paid.

Questions people ask

Does Mojobase Calendar work with Google Calendar?

Yes. Connect your Google account once and its main calendar syncs both ways: events come in, changes you make in Mojobase go back to Google, and Google sends nobody an email for them. One Google sign-in connects Gmail and Google Calendar together.

What kinds of booking link can I make?

One kind: one-on-one meetings with a set length, your availability, buffers, minimum notice, a daily limit and up to five questions. Group, round-robin and collective team booking, taking payment at booking and text-message reminders aren't part of Mojobase Calendar.

Can guests book a time without a Mojobase account?

Yes. A booking link is a public page. Guests pick a free time in their own time zone, answer your questions and get a confirmation with a private link to move or cancel. The page shows free times only, never your event titles or details.

Does the AI move my meetings by itself?

It changes your private time on its own, such as holds, focus blocks and notes, and records each change in Activity with Undo. Anything that reaches other people, like an invite, a reschedule or a cancellation, waits for your Approve, showing the exact change and message.

Does Mojobase record or transcribe meetings?

No. Mojobase works from the notes you type or paste on an event. From those it writes the summary, the follow-ups for Tasks and the follow-up email. If you need a bot that joins calls and records them, use a dedicated meeting recorder.

Can I see my Mojobase calendar on my phone?

Yes. Calendar works on a phone in the browser and can be added to the home screen, with Schedule as the first view. A private subscription link also shows your events in your phone's own calendar app, with full details or busy times only.
