Walk into every meeting prepared

Mojobase writes a short brief for each of today's meetings: who you're meeting, what was last said by email, what's open in Tasks, any unpaid invoice, the documents involved and anything you promised. Every line links to where it came from. Briefs arrive in the morning list or whenever you ask, and booking-link answers are part of them.

How does Mojobase prepare you for meetings, step by step?

  1. Your meetings, wherever they're kept

Mojobase Calendar, or Google Calendar and Outlook connected both ways. Meetings booked through your booking link arrive with the guest's answers to your questions.

  2. Who's coming

Each outside guest is matched to a person and company in Customers: when you last spoke, how many times you've met, and whether they're waiting on a reply from you.

  3. What was last said

The AI reads your recent threads with each guest and pulls out the open questions and anything you promised, such as a revised quote or a date.

  4. What's still open

Tasks linked to that person or their project, with what's overdue and who owns it, so you know before they ask.

  5. Where the money stands

Any unpaid invoice for their company, how late it is, and anything agreed about it, so you don't chase someone you promised to wait for.

  6. The files involved

The proposal, contract or notes from last time, found by what's inside them, linked from the brief.

  7. One brief, every line sourced

A few lines on the event, each with a link to its source. If there's nothing on someone, the brief says so rather than filling the gap.

What do you say to start it?

  • “Prepare me for Thursday's call with Northside.”
  • “What's on today, and what should I know before the 2pm?”
  • “Who booked through my link this week, and what do they want?”
  • “What did I promise Ortega last time we spoke?”
  • “Which of today's meetings are with someone who has an unpaid invoice or an open support conversation?”

What goes into a meeting brief?

Six short parts, each from a different app, each with a link. Here is the brief for a call with a wholesale customer:

Part From Example
Who Customers Dana Reyes, Northside Bakery. Six meetings; last contact three days ago
Last said Email Dana asked to hold invoice 1042 until the second delivery; you said yes
Still open Tasks Second delivery, due Thursday, Sam
Money Numbers Invoice 1042, unpaid, on hold by agreement
Files Documents The wholesale price list sent in September
Their answers Booking link “Want to talk about weekly orders for a second shop”

Why does a meeting brief need the whole business?

Because the embarrassing moments in meetings come from the app you didn't check. You chase an invoice you agreed to hold, forget the quote you promised last week, or don't know they've had a support problem since you last spoke. A brief from the calendar alone tells you the time and the attendees. Mojobase's brief comes from email, tasks, invoices, support and files together, which is why it can say “don't mention the invoice; you agreed to wait”.

When do briefs arrive?

Three ways. The morning list puts a brief on each of today's meetings before your day starts. A booking made through your link gets its brief as soon as it's booked, from the guest's answers and any past mail. And any meeting, on any day, gets one when you ask in Quick actions (⌘K) or through your own agent.

How long is a brief?

Short enough to read in the minute before you join. It leads with what matters most for this meeting, usually an open question or a promise, and leaves out what hasn't changed. Ask for more on any line and the AI opens the thread, task or file behind it.

Questions people ask

Does meeting prep work with Google Calendar and Outlook?

Yes. Connect Google Calendar or Outlook and their meetings get briefs too. Changes go both ways, so you can keep using the calendar you have while Mojobase does the preparation.

Does Mojobase join or record my calls?

No. Mojobase doesn't join, record or transcribe calls. It prepares you from what's already in the business, and afterwards it works from the notes you type or paste.

Can a brief include things I'm not allowed to see?

No. A brief is written with your access only. Mail in a colleague's private mailbox, or anything in a mailbox, calendar or folder with AI switched off, never reaches it.

What happens after the meeting?

Type or paste your notes on the event. The AI writes a summary, suggests tasks for you to accept in Tasks, and drafts the follow-up email for you to send.
