Which should you choose, Mojobase or Calendly?

Choose Calendly if

  • Several people share bookings: round-robin, collective and group events, routing from form answers, and meeting polls.
  • You take payment when people book, through Stripe or PayPal, or send reminders by text.
  • You want a free booking page, or meetings recorded and transcribed with Notetaker.
  • You route leads into Salesforce or HubSpot from your booking forms.

Choose Mojobase if

  • You want the calendar itself, not just the booking page, with the bookings next to the email and customers they belong to.
  • You want a brief before each meeting: what was last said, what's open, and the documents involved. Mojobase is built for 1 to 25 people, and it works well for teams up to 100.
  • You arrange most meetings over email and want the AI to find times and draft the reply.

What's the real difference between Mojobase and Calendly?

Calendly is a scheduling layer on top of the calendars you already have. It connects up to six Google, Outlook, Microsoft 365 or iCloud calendars for conflicts and gives each person booking pages for every kind of meeting: one-on-one, group, round-robin and collective, with routing, payments and reminders around them.

Mojobase is the calendar itself, inside the rest of the business. Week, Day, Month and a Schedule list, events with guests, repeats and reminders, invites that work in Gmail, Outlook and Apple, and two-way sync with Google and Microsoft. Its booking link does one thing, one-on-one meetings, and the AI does the rest: it reads who booked, finds your past email with them and writes a short brief on the event.

How does AI scheduling compare?

Calendly's AI is an add-on. Callie, in beta, joins an email thread when you copy [email protected], suggests times, coordinates replies and books the meeting; Notetaker records, transcribes and summarises meetings on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Both come with Standard Plus at $18 or Teams Plus at $24 a seat a month billed yearly, and work in English only.

In Mojobase, scheduling from email is part of the calendar. Ask it to find 30 minutes with a customer next week, mornings their time, and it computes free times in code, drafts the reply in Email and places private holds on the slots it offered, releasing them once one is picked. Anything that reaches the other person waits for your approval; private holds and time blocks it can place on its own, with Undo. Mojobase doesn't record or transcribe calls.

Which one costs less for a team of five?

Calendly costs less for scheduling alone. Free covers one event type, Standard is $10 a seat a month billed yearly, or $12 monthly, and only people who host need a seat; five hosts on Standard are $50 a month billed yearly or $60 monthly. Teams, with round-robin and routing, is $16 a seat billed yearly. Mojobase for five is $139 a month, or $105 for the first 10 companies.

That price is for the whole of Mojobase: the calendar, email, team chat, tasks, a CRM, a support inbox and Stripe invoice tracking, not just booking pages.

Where is Calendly the better choice?

Calendly is the better choice for teams that share bookings or take payment. Round-robin and collective events, routing website visitors from form answers, meeting polls, Stripe and PayPal payments at booking, text reminders, embeds on your website and more than 100 integrations, including Salesforce and HubSpot, are Calendly's strengths. Mojobase has one kind of booking link, one-on-one, with no team booking, payments or text reminders. If you're a solo consultant or a small team where each person books their own meetings, Mojobase covers it with the calendar and briefs included.

Questions people ask

Can Mojobase replace Calendly?

For one person's one-on-one bookings, yes: booking links with set lengths, availability, buffers, minimum notice, a daily cap, questions and reschedule or cancel links. It doesn't do round-robin, collective or group bookings, routing, payments, text reminders or meeting polls, so teams that share bookings should keep Calendly.

How much does Calendly cost?

Calendly Free has one event type and one calendar connection. Standard is $10 a seat a month billed yearly, or $12 monthly, and Teams is $16 or $20. With Notetaker and Callie, Standard Plus is $18 a seat billed yearly or $24 monthly; Teams Plus is $24 or $32. Invitees never need a seat.

Is Calendly's AI included?

No. Notetaker, which records and summarises meetings, and Callie, an assistant that schedules over email, are a paid add-on per seat, in English only. Mojobase's AI is in the per-person price, up to a monthly allowance, and covers scheduling, briefs and follow-ups.

Does Mojobase sync with Google Calendar and Outlook?

Yes. Connect your Google or Microsoft account once and Mojobase syncs its calendar both ways, so bookings land where your phone already looks. Standard invites work in Gmail, Outlook and Apple, and replies arriving in Email update the event.

What does the AI do with a booking?

It turns the booking form's answers and your past email with that person into a short brief on the event. Before the meeting, the morning list shows what was last said and what's open; afterwards, your notes become a summary, proposed tasks and a follow-up draft.
