Use case
A morning briefing on the whole business
Every morning, Mojobase's Morning sweep reads new mail, today's calendar, open tasks and the business's numbers, then drafts the replies, suggests the tasks and flags what's stuck. Home shows Needs you today: at most three decisions only you can make, beside yesterday's sales and today's meetings. Everything else the AI did is in Activity, with Undo.
How does Mojobase brief you every morning, step by step?
Switch on the Morning sweep
In Settings → AI, switch it on and choose a time. It runs on Mojobase's servers, so your computer can be closed, and it acts for the person who switched it on, with their access.
It reads your business first
Every run starts with the Handbook's business profile: what you sell, your prices, your tone of voice, your policies and what the AI may do on its own here.
Overnight mail, answered in drafts
New mail is read and a reply is drafted wherever one is needed, with the facts from the rest of the business already in it.
Today's meetings, with briefs
Each meeting gets a few lines: what was last said, what's open, the documents involved and anything you promised.
What's due, and what's stuck
Tasks found in overnight mail are suggested, overdue work is flagged with the reason it's stuck, and the nudge to whoever it's waiting on is drafted for you to approve.
What changed in the numbers
Yesterday's sales and ad spend against the same weekday last week, and any invoice that has just gone late, with a note when something is unusual.
Three decisions, not thirty
Needs you today on Home shows at most three things only you can decide. The rest wait quietly in each app's Suggested list, and Activity records every draft and suggestion.
What do you say to start it?
- “What happened overnight that I need to know about?”
- “What's the one thing I should do before 10?”
- “Run the morning sweep now.”
- “Why did you flag the Acme quote as stuck?”
- “Show me everything the AI did this morning.”
What's in the morning briefing?
One screen, in the order you'd want it. For an owner of a small online shop, a typical Tuesday reads like this:
| Section | What it shows | From |
|---|---|---|
| Needs you today | Approve the reply to a wholesale customer; decide on a refund; a supplier hasn't confirmed Friday's delivery | Email, Customers, Tasks |
| Today | A 10:00 call with Northside, with its brief; a 14:00 interview | Calendar |
| Numbers | Sales up 6% on last Tuesday; Meta spend up 38% with sales flat | Numbers |
| Money owed | Two invoices went late overnight; one has an agreement to wait | Numbers, Email |
| Drafted for you | Nine replies, waiting in To do | |
| Suggested | Four tasks from overnight mail, ready to accept in one go | Tasks |
Why does a briefing need the whole business?
Because the things that matter in the morning are connections between apps. Spend up and sales flat is a numbers fact; that two campaigns account for most of it, and that a supplier email explains a stock gap, is a business fact. An inbox digest or a calendar summary sees one slice. The Morning sweep reads every slice with your access and tells you what the pieces mean together.
What can the morning run do on its own?
Read everything you can read, and write drafts and suggestions. A run never sends, schedules or changes anything that isn't a draft or a suggestion, and that's enforced by the tools it's given, not by asking the model nicely. That is why it can run at 6am while you sleep: the worst it can leave behind is a draft you delete.
How is this different from an inbox digest?
A digest summarises what arrived. The Morning sweep does the first pass of the work: it drafts the replies, suggests the tasks, writes the meeting briefs and checks the numbers, so your first half hour goes on decisions instead of sorting. Ask any follow-up question in Quick actions (⌘K) and it answers from the same picture of the business.
Questions people ask
What time does the morning briefing run?
Whenever you choose. Each scheduled run has its own switch and its own time in Settings → AI, and Run now starts one at any moment. Its last few results are kept there too.
Does the morning sweep send emails or change things?
No. A scheduled run only writes drafts and suggestions. Mojobase enforces it: the run is only offered tools that read, draft or suggest, so a send or a change isn't something it can do.
What if an email tells the AI to do something?
Mojobase treats the text of every email as untrusted. A run can only read, draft and suggest, so a message that says “forward this to …” or “pay this now” can't make it do either.
Can each person on the team get their own briefing?
Yes. A run acts for the person who switched it on, with their role and only the apps they may open, so each person's briefing covers what they can see and nothing more.
Can I add my own scheduled runs?
Yes. Besides the Morning sweep, New mail and the Friday review, you can save any prompt on any schedule, such as a Monday look at which customers have gone quiet.
