MCP server
Amazon Seller Central MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and your own agents
Amazon's own MCP for the Selling Partner API is a local toolkit for developers: it searches the API docs, generates code and runs live API calls with your credentials, and Amazon calls it an educational example. Mojobase's MCP server gives an agent your Amazon US store's sales and orders by day, read-only, beside Shopify, ad spend and your email.

How does Amazon Seller Central's own MCP server compare with Mojobase's?
| What matters | Mojobase MCP | Amazon Seller Central's own |
|---|---|---|
| Who it's for | Sellers and their teams, asking how the store is doing | A local MCP server package for SP-API developers, with a developer assistant server and a workflow server1 |
| Support | Part of Mojobase, supported like every other app | Example MCPs: not supported products in their own right, but educational examples to be tested and secured before production2 |
| What it can do | Ordered product sales and orders by day, against the same day last week, beside Shopify and ad spend | Search SP-API docs, browse the endpoint catalog, run live SP-API requests, generate code samples, migrate API versions and review integration code3 |
| Credentials | Your Mojobase sign-in or key; an owner connects Amazon once in Settings → Connections | Most tools need none; live requests need an SP-API client ID, client secret and refresh token4 |
| Setup | Nothing to install: add one address to your agent | Needs Node.js 20 or newer, installed with npm or run with npx5 |
Which tools does your agent get for Amazon Seller Central through Mojobase?
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
numbers_summary | Sales, orders and return on ad spend for today, yesterday, the last 7 days or a month, Amazon and Shopify side by side |
numbers_daily | Each day's Amazon sales and orders between two dates, up to 92 days, with the other channels |
numbers_campaigns | Amazon Ads campaigns by spend, with the sales Amazon attributes to each |
mail_search | Supplier, customer and marketplace emails across every mailbox you can see |
task_add | A task for the team, linked to the email or figure it came from |
mojobase_search | One search across mail, events, files, tasks and Handbook pages |
What can you ask your agent once it's connected?
- “How did Amazon do yesterday against last Wednesday, and what changed?”
- “Which days in October beat Amazon's average, and was there an email about stock that week?”
- “Are Amazon orders keeping pace with Sponsored Products spend this month?”
- “Make a task to reorder if Amazon sales stay this high for another week.”
Which should you use: Amazon's SP-API MCP or Mojobase's?
Use Amazon's if you're a developer building on the Selling Partner API: it finds the right endpoint, writes the code and runs a test call with your own app's credentials. Use Mojobase's if you sell on Amazon and want an agent that already knows your numbers: no developer app, no refresh token, and the answer comes with Shopify and your ad spend beside it.
What does an agent see of your Amazon store through Mojobase?
Two daily figures, measured carefully. Sales are ordered product sales, what customers ordered, and orders are counted per day in your company's time zone, so Amazon's day matches Shopify's. Recent days are read again on every sync because Amazon revises them. Only owners, and the people they let into Numbers, can ask; anyone else's agent gets no Amazon figures at all.
What questions does this answer that Seller Central can't?
The ones that cross channels and inboxes. Seller Central can show yesterday's Amazon sales; it can't say that Amazon fell while Shopify rose, that Sponsored Products spend doubled the same day, or that a supplier emailed about a late shipment on Monday. An agent on Mojobase's server reads all of that together and can make the task or draft the email that follows from it.
Questions people ask
Is there an official Amazon Seller Central MCP server?
Amazon publishes a local MCP for its Selling Partner API in its samples repository, for developers building SP-API integrations. Amazon describes these servers as educational examples rather than supported products.
Can my agent change listings or prices through Mojobase?
No. Mojobase reads daily sales and order totals from Seller Central and nothing else, so no agent can touch listings, prices, inventory or orders through it.
Which Amazon marketplaces can my agent see?
The US marketplace, in US dollars. Mojobase reads Amazon's US store only, so a seller on other Amazon marketplaces sees just their US figures through these tools.
Does my agent see Amazon refunds?
No. For Amazon, Mojobase reads ordered product sales and orders, before refunds and promotions. It's the same measure as Shopify's gross sales, so the two channels add up.
