Amazon Seller Central integration

Mojobase and Amazon Seller Central

Connect Amazon Seller Central to Mojobase once, in Settings → Connections, and Numbers shows your Amazon US store's ordered product sales and orders by day, next to Shopify and your ad spend. Each morning the AI reads them with your email and tasks and says what changed. The connection only reads, and covers Amazon's US marketplace.

What does Mojobase read from Amazon Seller Central?

  • Ordered product sales by day: the value of what customers ordered, measured the same way as Shopify's gross sales
  • Orders by day, and the average order worked out from the two
  • Days in your company's time zone, so Amazon's day lines up with Shopify's
  • The last 7 days again on every sync, because Amazon revises recent days
  • Amazon's US marketplace only

Used by: Numbers, the AI's scheduled runs, Quick actions and your own agents over MCP.

How do you connect Amazon Seller Central to Mojobase?

  1. Open Settings → Connections → Connect a source in Mojobase (owners only) and choose Amazon.
  2. Sign in to Seller Central and approve Mojobase's read-only access to your sales.
  3. Mojobase reads recent weeks straight away, then keeps them up to date through the day.
  4. Open Numbers to see Amazon beside Shopify, with Meta, Google and Amazon Ads spend underneath.

What can you ask once Amazon Seller Central is connected?

  • “How did Amazon do yesterday against the same day last week?”
  • “Is Amazon keeping up with Shopify this month?”
  • “Did the jump in Sponsored Products spend bring more Amazon orders?”
  • “Put Amazon's daily sales for October in a table for the accountant.”

What should you know about Amazon Seller Central itself?

  • Where the numbers come from: The Selling Partner API's getOrderMetrics returns aggregated order metrics for an interval, broken down by a granularity such as day, in a time zone you name1
  • One marketplace at a time: Each request names one marketplace; ATVPDKIKX0DER is the US marketplace2
  • Rate limit: 0.5 requests a second, with a burst of 153

Why see Amazon sales in Mojobase instead of in Seller Central?

Seller Central shows Amazon; Mojobase shows Amazon next to the rest of the business. Most sellers on Amazon and Shopify add the two together every morning, then open three ad managers to see what the sales cost. In Numbers that's one page, measured the same way on both channels, and the AI reads it with your email, so a drop in Amazon orders arrives with the supplier email about a late delivery.

How does the morning run use Amazon data?

It compares yesterday with the same weekday last week, since weekdays differ, and flags what's unusual: Amazon sales down while Sponsored Products spend is up, or orders flat while Shopify grew. The note sits at the top of Numbers and, when it needs a decision, in Home's Needs you today, with Ask and Make a task beside it. Nothing changes in Seller Central.

What doesn't the Amazon connection cover?

It covers one US store's daily sales and orders, and nothing more. Refunds, promotions, fees, inventory, other marketplaces and per-product numbers stay in Seller Central. Amazon's ad spend comes through a separate connection, Amazon Ads, so it shows with Meta and Google spend rather than inside Amazon sales.

Questions people ask

Which Amazon marketplaces does Mojobase read?

Amazon's US marketplace, in US dollars. Other countries and currencies aren't included, so a seller on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de sees only their US store in Numbers.

Does Mojobase count Amazon refunds and promotions?

Not for Amazon. Numbers shows Amazon's ordered product sales, before refunds and promotions. It's the same measure as Shopify's gross sales, so the two channels add up to one total.

Can Mojobase change my Amazon listings or prices?

No. The connection reads sales and order totals only. It never edits listings, prices, inventory or orders, and Disconnect deletes the access and every copy Mojobase made.

Who in my company can see the Amazon numbers?

Owners, to start with. An owner can open Numbers to other people in the team when they're ready, and the AI answers each person only with what they may see.

Does Mojobase show profit per product on Amazon?

No. Numbers shows sales, orders and ad spend per channel and platform, not profit, fees or numbers per product. For per-product profit, an Amazon analytics tool goes deeper.
