Amazon Ads MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and your own agents
Amazon's own Ads MCP server is in open beta for partners with API credentials. Mojobase's MCP server reads Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands spend, campaigns and attributed sales beside real Amazon orders, Shopify sales and other platforms. An owner connects Amazon Ads in Settings → Connections; your agent can compare the figures but never change bids or budgets.

What can you ask your agent once it's connected?
- “Did Sponsored Products spend and Amazon orders rise together last week?”
- “Which Amazon campaigns spent the most this month, and what did Amazon credit them with?”
- “What's our return on ad spend on Amazon alone, from real orders?”
- “Make a task to pause the brand campaign if its spend keeps rising without orders.”
Which should you use: Amazon's Ads MCP server or Mojobase's?
Use Amazon's if you're an Amazon Ads API partner and want an agent to work inside your advertising, including the campaigns themselves. Use Mojobase's if you're a seller who wants an agent to check the spend: it reads Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands next to Amazon's real orders and your Shopify sales, needs no API credentials of your own, and can't change a bid.
Why compare Amazon's attributed sales with real orders?
Because they answer different questions. Amazon credits sales to the ads it believes caused them; Seller Central records every order, whether an ad was involved or not. An agent that sees both can tell when ad spend is buying orders you'd have had anyway: attributed sales rising while total Amazon orders stay flat.
How does an owner connect Amazon Ads for an agent?
Open Settings → Connections → Connect a source, choose Amazon Ads and sign in with the Amazon account that manages your advertising. Select the US profile and grant read-only access to reports. Mojobase handles the API connection, so you don't need credentials of your own. Connect Seller Central separately to give the agent actual Amazon orders alongside attributed sales and spend. The agent uses your Numbers permissions and can compare campaigns without changing bids or budgets.
Questions people ask
Is there an official Amazon Ads MCP server?
Yes. Amazon announced the Amazon Ads MCP Server in open beta on 2 February 2026. It's available globally to Amazon Ads partners with active API credentials, and connects agents to the Amazon Ads API.
Can my agent change Amazon bids through Mojobase?
No. Mojobase reads advertising reports only, so bids, budgets, keywords and campaigns stay in Amazon's advertising console or with whoever manages them.
Do I need Amazon Ads API credentials to use Mojobase's server?
No. Mojobase handles the API connection. An owner opens Settings → Connections → Connect a source, chooses Amazon Ads and signs in with Amazon to pick the US advertising profile and grant read-only access. Your agent then reads the connected account's spend, campaigns and attributed sales through Numbers.
Does my agent see Amazon sales and Amazon ad spend together?
Yes, if both are connected. Seller Central supplies Amazon's real orders and sales, Amazon Ads supplies the spend and Amazon's attributed sales, and the tools return them side by side.
