Which should you choose, Mojobase or Pipedrive?

Choose Pipedrive if

  • You have salespeople working deals through stages, and you forecast revenue from the pipeline.
  • You want email sequences, lead scoring, lead routing and open and click tracking.
  • You want call recording and transcription with briefs before each sales call, which Pipedrive's Nova includes on every plan.

Choose Mojobase if

  • Selling is one of several jobs for the same few people, and nobody has time to update a pipeline.
  • You want customers, support conversations, invoices and tasks on one page per customer. Mojobase is built for 1 to 25 people, and it works well for teams up to 100.
  • You want your email in the same place as the CRM, not synced into it.

What's the real difference between Mojobase and Pipedrive?

Pipedrive is built for selling as a process. Deals move across a visual pipeline, each stage has its activities, stale deals "rot" with an alert, and reports show win rates, goals and a revenue forecast. Its own description of its customers is B2B, sales-led businesses of 11 to 250 employees with a defined sales process.

Mojobase is built for the business where selling isn't anyone's whole job. There's no pipeline to move deals along. Instead, the customer list builds itself from everyone you've written to and met, each person shows when you last spoke, whether they're waiting on you and when you meet next, and the AI drafts the follow-up. The trade is plain: Mojobase gives up stages and forecasts to need no data entry.

How does each one handle email?

Pipedrive syncs your email into the CRM. Two-way sync with open and click tracking comes with Growth, and up to five email accounts can be connected; AI multi-email tools and shared inboxes come with Premium. Sequences send automated follow-ups to up to 500 enrolled contacts each.

In Mojobase, email is one of the apps rather than something connected to a CRM. Mojobase hosts business email on your domain, or reads Gmail and Outlook, with no limit on mailboxes. New mail is sorted as it lands, replies are drafted from the customer's history, and a message that asks for work becomes a suggested task. There are no sequences or tracking pixels: Mojobase writes one email at a time, as a person would.

Which one costs less for a team of five?

On price per seat, Pipedrive's Lite plan is lower: $14 a seat a month billed annually. But the email sync and automations most teams buy Pipedrive for start on Growth, at $39 a seat billed annually, and shared inboxes and AI email tools on Premium, at $59 billed annually. Mojobase for five people is $139 a month on the list price, or $105 for the first 10 companies.

Mojobase's price also includes a support inbox, team chat, documents, tasks and Stripe invoice tracking. A Pipedrive team pays for its mail provider and other work tools separately, and add-ons such as Campaigns and Web Visitors are extra on every Pipedrive plan. Mojobase reads invoices from the company's Stripe account; Stripe still issues them and handles payments.

Where is Pipedrive the better choice?

Pipedrive is the better choice for a sales team. If you employ salespeople, measure them on deals won, run sequences and score leads, Mojobase doesn't do that work. Pipedrive's AI Sales Assistant predicts which deals you're likely to win or lose, its LeadBooster finds and routes leads, and Nova records and transcribes calls with a brief beforehand. Pipedrive also connects to 500 or more tools, including QuickBooks, Xero and Mailchimp. Mojobase is the better choice when the owner and a few colleagues sell, deliver and support, and the customer record should come from the work itself.

Questions people ask

Does Mojobase have a sales pipeline?

No. Mojobase tracks relationships instead of deals: who you've written to and met, who's waiting on a reply, who's gone quiet for 30 days and when you next meet. If your team moves deals through stages and forecasts from them, Pipedrive is the better fit.

How much does Pipedrive cost for five people?

It depends on the plan. Lite is $14 a seat a month; Growth, which adds full email sync and automations, is $39; Premium, with AI email tools and shared inboxes, is $59, all billed annually. Mojobase is $139 a month for five, with every app.

Is Pipedrive's AI included?

Much of it is. Nova meeting intelligence, AI sales reports from a text prompt and AI marketplace search are on all plans. AI multi-email tools come with Premium. MCP and API use count against token limits in each plan, with more for sale. Mojobase's AI is included up to a monthly allowance.

Can I move from Pipedrive to Mojobase without importing contacts?

Yes. Connect your mailboxes and calendar, and Mojobase finds everyone you've written to or met and groups them by company from their web domain. Deal stages, scores and notes kept only in Pipedrive stay there.

Does Pipedrive have a free plan?

Pipedrive's pricing page shows no free plan, only a 14-day trial with no credit card required. Mojobase has no free plan either; the first 10 companies pay $29 a month for the first person and $19 for each after, for life.
