Mojobase for insurance agents

Mojobase gives an independent insurance agent or small agency a CRM that fills itself from email, with renewals as repeating tasks, follow-ups on quotes drafted, and policy documents you can ask questions of. The AI sorts carrier and client email and drafts the replies. It has no quoting, rating or policy management, and doesn't connect to carriers.

What does Mojobase do for insurance agents?

Clients and households, found

Everyone you email or meet becomes a person, grouped by company when they write from a business address, with their emails, meetings, tasks and files on one page.

Renewals that come up in time

Each policy's renewal as a repeating task with the date you enter, an owner and a reminder weeks ahead. Ticking it off sets the next one, so the review call happens before the renewal, not after.

Quotes followed up

When you send a quote and the client goes silent, the conversation comes back after two working days with a short follow-up drafted, mentioning the quote and the date it expires.

Policy documents you can question

Policy PDFs and declarations saved in Documents, searchable by what's inside. Ask what the deductible is on a home policy and get the passage, the file and the page.

Carrier mail, sorted

Carrier notices, underwriting questions and client requests are labelled Reply, Important or Routine, so the underwriter's question doesn't sit under twenty notices.

How your agency does things

Claims-help steps, renewal scripts and answers to common coverage questions, written once. Staff follow them, and the AI drafts from them.

What would you ask it?

  • “Which renewals are due in the next 60 days, and have we contacted those clients?”
  • “What's the deductible on the Garcia home policy?”
  • “Draft renewal check-ins to everyone renewing in December.”
  • “Who asked for a quote this week and hasn't heard back?”
  • “Summarise what the Patels have asked us for since the spring.”

Connects to: Gmail and Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, Google Calendar.

What does a week at a small agency look like with Mojobase?

Renewals come up early, quotes don't go cold, and policy questions get answered from the document. A week at a three-person independent agency:

Day What happens Where
Monday The renewals due in the next 60 days are listed, with the clients nobody has contacted yet flagged Tasks, Customers
Tuesday An underwriter's question about a commercial policy is labelled Reply and put first, with a draft from the client's file Email, Documents
Wednesday Three quotes sent last week have had no answer. A follow-up for each is drafted, naming the quote Email
Thursday A client asks if their policy covers a burst pipe. The answer quotes the policy wording, with the page, for you to check Documents
Friday Renewal review calls are booked through your link, each with a brief from the client's emails and policies Calendar

Why does an insurance agent need the AI to see everything?

Because a renewal conversation needs the policy, the client's emails and what's changed in their life. A client who emailed in spring about a new car and a home extension needs a different review from one who said nothing. Mojobase's AI reads the documents, the email and the calendar together, so the renewal check-in it drafts mentions what the client actually told you.

What doesn't Mojobase do for an insurance agency?

It runs the client side of the agency, not the insurance systems. Plainly:

  • No quoting or rating, and no connection to carriers.
  • No policy administration or downloads from carriers.
  • No commission tracking, bookkeeping or licensing records.
  • No texting, calls or e-signatures.
  • No industry certifications claimed.

Keep your agency management system for those, and use Mojobase for the conversations and documents around every policy.
