# Chat

Your team's chat, with your agents in the same conversations. Ask a question in Chat and AI answers from everything the business knows, so your team stops waiting for you.

## Talk

- **Channels**, public or private, **direct messages** and **group messages**.
- **Threads** keep a side conversation out of the main flow. **@mention** someone to bring them in.
- **Reactions**, **edit** and **delete** (with Undo), photos and files. Save any file to **Documents** in one click.
- **Search** every message you can see. **Needs you** gathers the mentions and replies waiting on you.

Choose what notifies you, and switch on notifications for each browser or phone, in **Chat Settings**.

## What the AI does

- **Answers questions** from the whole business: *"What did we promise Northside about Thursday?"* It quotes where the answer came from.
- **Turns talk into work:** *"Turn this thread into tasks for Sam"* or *"Write this up as a Handbook page."*
- **Your agents take part.** An agent you've connected can read and post in the conversations you're in, and its messages are marked as the agent's.

## Who sees what

A private channel or a direct message you're not in doesn't exist for you, or for your agents. Agents only ever see what their person can see.
