# A CRM you never have to fill in

Mojobase CRM is a customer list nobody has to type. It finds the people you email and meet, groups them by company, and shows each one's mail, meetings, invoices, tasks and files on one page. The AI flags who's owed a reply or gone quiet, and drafts the follow-up. It's part of Mojobase Customers.

## What does Mojobase CRM do?

### People found for you

Everyone you've written to, from the mailboxes you can see, and every outside guest on your calendar. Newsletters and spam never make the list, because you've never written back to them.

### Companies from web domains

Someone at acme.example joins Acme. Gmail, Outlook and the other big free mail domains are left out, so your customers' personal addresses don't become fake companies.

### One page per customer

Recent mail, past and next meetings, open tasks, files and Handbook pages about them, gathered live when you open it. Each person sees only what they could already see.

### Signals that matter

Last contact, owed a reply (they're waiting on you), gone quiet (nothing for 30 days after a run of contact) and the next meeting. The few that need you reach Home's Needs you today.

### AI that does the follow-up

Ask who's gone quiet and the AI writes to each of them in drafts, using what you last discussed. It adds and edits people and companies with Undo; deleting waits for a person.

### Support in the same list

Support conversations live in Customers' Inbox, next to the same people. Whoever answers support also sells, so one page shows the open question and the open invoice.

## What can you ask the AI in CRM?

Type it in Quick actions (⌘K) from anywhere in Mojobase, or ask your own agent over MCP.

- “Who hasn't heard from us in 30 days? Draft a check-in to each.”
- “Who's waiting on a reply from me, oldest first?”
- “Prepare me for Thursday's call with Northside: last emails, open invoice, promises.”
- “Add everyone from yesterday's trade show emails as people at their companies.”
- “Which customers have an unpaid invoice and an open support conversation?”

**Works with:** Gmail and Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, Google Calendar, Stripe.

## Why does a small business need a CRM that fills itself in?

Because the CRMs that need typing stay empty. In a small company, the person who should update the CRM is the same person answering the email, so the record falls behind within a week. Mojobase starts from what already happened: the emails you sent and the meetings you held.

That's also why it has no separate import. Connect your mailbox in Email and your calendar in Calendar, and the people you work with appear in Customers, each with the history that put them there.

## How does Mojobase decide who's a customer?

Mojobase counts someone once you've written to them or met them. Anyone you've only received mail from, such as newsletters, receipts and cold pitches, stays out. A person found in a mailbox the whole team sees is added for everyone and marked "Found in email". A person found only in your own mailbox or calendar shows to you alone, under "Found for you", until you add them.

Companies come from web domains: two people at northside.example become Northside. The big free mail domains are left out.

## What does the AI do with the CRM?

The AI uses it as the map of who matters. The morning run checks who's owed a reply and who's gone quiet, drafts the follow-ups and puts the few that need a decision in Needs you today. In Quick actions (⌘K), "Who hasn't ordered in 60 days? Write to each of them" finds the people, reads what you last discussed and writes each email as a draft.

Because the CRM sits next to Numbers and Calendar, a follow-up can mention the open Stripe invoice or the next meeting without anyone looking it up. Existing Stripe invoices and amounts owed appear read-only on each person's and company's page. After checking email, meeting notes, team chat and tasks, the AI can draft a reminder with Stripe's existing invoice payment link; a person sends it. Everything the AI changes is in Activity, with Undo where available.

## How is it different from HubSpot or Pipedrive?

HubSpot and Pipedrive are built around a [pipeline](https://mojobase.ai/learn/what-is-a-sales-pipeline) you keep up to date. Pipedrive connects to your email through two-way sync. Mojobase holds the email, the calendar, the tasks and the support inbox itself, so the CRM is a view of the work rather than a second place to record it. The trade-off is plain: Mojobase has no deal stages or forecasts. The full comparison, with HubSpot's prices from its own site, is on [Mojobase vs HubSpot](https://mojobase.ai/compare/mojobase-vs-hubspot).

## Questions people ask

### Do I have to enter my contacts?

No. Mojobase finds the people you've written to and the guests on your calendar, and suggests them. People found in a shared mailbox join the company's list; people found only in your own mailbox stay visible to you until you add them.

### Does it have a sales pipeline with deal stages?

No. Mojobase CRM is built for teams where the same people sell and support, and it tracks relationships rather than deal stages: who you talk to, what's open and what's next. If you run a sales team on stages and forecasts, a pipeline CRM fits better.

### Can teammates see my private email through the CRM?

No. A customer's page is gathered live as whoever is looking, so it shows only the mail, meetings and files that person could already open. Customers keeps no copy of anyone's mail.

### How much does the CRM cost?

The CRM is part of every Mojobase plan: $39 a month for the first person and $25 for each after, with email, calendar, tasks, documents, support, numbers and the AI included. The first 10 companies pay $29 and $19, for life.

### Can my own AI agent use the CRM?

Yes. Mojobase's one MCP server gives Claude, ChatGPT or your own agent the same people, companies and history, under the same rules as the screens, and every change it makes shows in Activity with Undo.
