- You'd rather license only the people who use the software.

### Choose Zoho One if

- You want 50+ cloud apps, including mail, chat, documents and help desk, on one invoice.
- Everyone on the payroll will use the software, so the all-employee price works out cheaper.
- You want AI included without separate AI licences or per-use fees.
- You want a 30-day trial with no card before deciding.

## How do Odoo and Zoho One differ in approach?

Odoo is an ERP that grew into a suite, and Zoho One is a suite of cloud apps sold as one subscription. Odoo's apps work together, from CRM and eCommerce through accounting, inventory, supply chain, point of sale, HR and payroll, with Studio for customising and an open source Community edition beneath it.

Zoho One bundles 50+ Zoho apps (CRM, Mail, Cliq chat, WorkDrive, Desk, Books, Payroll, Projects, Inventory and more) under one admin and one invoice. Odoo is strongest where operations run on stock and accounting. Zoho One is strongest where a company wants every office tool, from email to help desk, from one vendor.

## How much do Odoo and Zoho One cost?

Both show first-year discounts. Odoo Standard is $24.90 a user a month billed yearly, and Odoo says the discount lasts 12 months for the users first ordered without explicitly publishing a renewal rate; billed monthly it's $31.10. Odoo Custom, with Studio, multi-company, the external API and Agentic AI, is $49 a user billed yearly.

Zoho One's all-employee price is $30 an employee a month billed yearly, rising to $37 from year two, or $45 billed monthly, and requires a licence for every employee on payroll. Its flexible price, for any number of users, is $67 a user billed yearly or $105 monthly. Zoho adds local taxes on top. Odoo's free plan gives one app to unlimited users forever; Zoho One has no free plan but a 30-day trial.

## What isn't in the price?

Implementation and extras sit outside both plans. Odoo excludes Odoo.sh hosting for custom development, implementation services, in-app credits (SMS, contact auto-complete, lead generation and AI scanning of bills) and maintenance of custom code. Zoho sells support plans and implementation help (Jumpstart, Concierge and partners) separately. Odoo's plans do include unlimited support by email, 24 hours a day on weekdays, hosting, upgrades and daily backups on two continents.

## How does the AI compare?

Zoho bundles its AI, and Odoo charges for some AI services through credits. Zoho's Zia covers Zia Chat, which understands context and acts for you, purpose-built Zia Agents and Zia Skills across apps, and Zoho says it runs AI on its own stack without sending customer data to outside models. Odoo builds AI into its apps (drafting emails, summarising the chatter, AI fields, AI live chat and meeting transcription) and lets you define AI agents with their own instructions, tools and guardrails, listed on the Custom plan.

## Where does Mojobase fit?

Mojobase is a third option for small companies that want their day-to-day work, not their operations, in one place, built for 1 to 25 people, and it works well for teams up to 100. It brings email, team chat, calendar, documents, tasks, customers and Numbers together, with the company's Stripe invoices and what is owed in view, and one AI across all of it. Stripe remains the system that creates invoices, takes payments and records their status. Mojobase has no accounting (bookkeeping or tax) and no inventory, so businesses that run on stock and ledgers are better served by Odoo or Zoho One.
