## What's the real difference between Mojobase and Notion?

Notion is a set of building blocks. Pages, databases, views and automations let a team design almost any system, from a content calendar to a hiring tracker, and its AI works across what you've built. Mojobase is the system already built for running a small business: a mailbox, a calendar, a customer list, a support inbox, invoices, tasks, documents and a Handbook, each with its own screen and its own rules for the AI.

That trade decides most choices. In Notion you decide what a customer record looks like and keep it up to date. In Mojobase, customers appear from the people you've written to and met, with their last email, next meeting, open tasks and unpaid invoices on one page, and nobody types them in.

## Where does the AI do more?

Notion's AI is strongest inside the workspace: Notion Agent writes and edits pages, fills in databases and finds answers across your content, and Custom Agents can run repetitive work on their own, paid for in Notion credits. AI Meeting Notes transcribe and summarise calls on Business.

Mojobase's AI starts from the inbox. New mail is sorted and answered in drafts as it lands, requests become suggested tasks with a link to the email, and a morning run goes through the mail, the day's meetings and open tasks to flag what's stuck. Late payers get a reminder drafted after the AI checks what was agreed. You choose per kind of change whether it waits for a click or happens on its own, and every change is in Activity with Undo.

## Which one costs less for a team of five?

Notion costs less for five people who only need docs and projects. Plus is $10 a member a month billed yearly, or $12 monthly, so $50 or $60 a month for five; Business, with Notion Agent and AI Meeting Notes, is $20 a member billed yearly or $24 monthly, $100 or $120 for five. Mojobase for five is $139 a month, or $105 for the first 10 companies, for life.

Mojobase's price also covers email, a CRM and a help desk, which a Notion team usually pays for elsewhere. It reads Stripe invoices too, and drafts payment reminders for a person to send; the invoicing system remains Stripe. If you don't need those, Notion is the better buy.

## Where is Notion the better choice?

Notion is the better choice when you want to build. Its databases have custom properties, dependencies, filters, charts and dashboards; its pages can be published as sites; and its forms collect answers from anyone. A team that has already shaped its operations in Notion would lose that flexibility in Mojobase, which has no custom databases, board views or dashboards. Notion's free plan is also a real option for one person, and Mojobase has none.

## How do the wikis compare?

Both keep a company wiki, with different aims. Notion's wiki is pages and databases you organise as you like. Mojobase's Handbook is written for people and the AI at once: its business profile (what you sell, prices, tone, policies and what the AI may do on its own) is the first thing every AI run reads, and a collection can be published as a public help center that the support AI answers from. AI edits are kept in the page history, and publishing waits for a person.

### Can Mojobase replace Notion?

For a small business's documents, wiki and tasks, yes: Documents holds files and text documents, the Handbook is the company wiki, and Tasks covers projects with sections, subtasks and assignees. Mojobase has no custom databases, boards or dashboards, so teams that build their own systems in Notion will miss them.

### Is Notion AI included in the price?

Partly. Notion Agent and AI Meeting Notes are included on Business, at $20 a member a month billed yearly or $24 monthly; Free and Plus get a limited trial. Custom Agents cost $10 per 1,000 Notion credits after a free try. Mojobase includes its AI in every plan, up to a monthly allowance.

### Does Mojobase have databases and boards like Notion?
